From cover to cover, this book is very informative and is guaranteed to keep your attention. From the demolition of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel to the finishing touches on the exterior of the Empire State building, the author takes the reader on a journey on the construction of what was to be the world's tallest building. The book's illustrations provide very useful insight into the construction of the Empire State Building. The reader can get a glance at how the beams, columns, and exterior were pieced together. The reader can also see how the construction crews fervently worked. The author does not fail to include the disappointments that the skyscraper would face. Six people were killed during during its construction. Dirigibles would not be able to dock on the building's top floor. Built during the Great the Depression, the Empire State Building would remain vacant for a while. Overall, this is an outstanding book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
