Review of the White Wolf of Avalon ( )
  ElizabethdRosa | Apr 10, 2013 |
Bledig is born an alpha lycan that is prophesied to lead the entire lycan pack of Britain to victory but Bledig doesn't want to do anything about it.

White Wolf of Avalon is the third book of the Wolf Maiden Chronicles. Bledig the Iron Fist is King Arthur's greatest knight. Bledig was raised with humans and his only dream as a boy growing up was to becomes a knight of the round table together with King Arthur. But one day, Bledig discovers that not only is he a Lycan, but an alpha wolf that would unite all the wolf pack in Britain. Refusing his destiny, Bledig became a knight of the round table and lived his life as human but one day his destiny will be altered after seeing Annora who he later learns is his wolf maiden or life mate. From then on, Bledig's never remains the same. It is a battle of survival, supremacy and love.

I loved how the story started and ended. It was an amazing read from chapter one to the last page of the book. White Wolf of Avalon was written with both Gordon's vivid imagination, mythology and the fictitious life of King Arthur and his knights. I love how all the elements blend well together and Gordon did an exceptional job at telling us the story of Bledig and his human and Lycan friends. The battle scenes were amazing. I especially liked how Annora's character developed throughout the story. The conflict, intrigues and revelation was well timed making the novel more enjoyable to read. There was not a dull moment in the book. I love how Gordon wrote this novel equally. Not to much action, not too mushy with romance.

I would recommend this novel to werewolf fans, readers who love romance accompanied by great fights and conflict, people who love mythology and ancient times, and anybody who needs a good book to read. Caution to parents and young readers because the book contains sex and a lot of violence. ( )
