A little sweet and predictable - of course Kara had a crush on him from way back, of course he noticed her and Edie's efforts to improve her looks and more importantly her self-confidence. And that sweet con-man of a kid was great. The complications with the villain were good - I'm half-sorry for Angela and half not at all (she chose her course!). But she did, sort of, in a limited way, redeem herself. And Jimmy is ridiculously blind - even more than the usual man-afraid-of-commitment thing in romances. It's a good thing Kara did stumble into trouble, or he might not have figured it out yet! Good story - it's one of those that sink into the background of my mind and just stay there. The tapestry is well-woven; it doesn't fluff and shred away like most romances, it's solid. I like. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML: WIFE WANTED --Love not required or even desired. Or so Chicago cop Jimmy Corona thought when he returned to his Oklahoma hometown and ran smack into Kara Brand. All Jimmy wanted was to find a mother for his son, someone to keep little Tyler safe while he took down his latest perp. Instead, he found that the shy, awkward Kara he'd known from high school had blossomed into a genuine beauty with a big heart and courage to spare --qualities he learned to value when danger followed him to town and only Kara stood between his son and certain death. Suddenly love didn't seem like such a scary prospect after all. .No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
