Beauty must hang out with Beast, a mysterious and hideous man/creature who lives in a castle nearby. Her father has been charged by the creature for taking a rose, the beast's most favorite thing. She learns to love him over time and agrees to marry him -- he turns into a handsome prince who was cursed. This is a good book to show what liking someone should entail. The other stories in it are fun, like The Lady and The Lion ( )
