As a dog lover, it was hard to pass up this book. A very easy and rhyming read, children will easily fall in love with the dog Tinka and her adventures with her humans. The sentences are short and rhyming, and can be easily predicted by children when read multiple times. ( )

Tinka is a dog that loves every minute of being a dog. She loves to play with her owner and chase the balls he throws for her to go and catch. Tinka however does not like to be by herself; and hates when her owner has to go to school. So, Tinka decides to go to school and look for her owner so she does not have to be alone anymore. While t school she gets into so much trouble that the school has to call her owners mom to come and take her away from school. ( )

This book tells the story of a young boys dog, Tinka. Tinka runs away to the boys school where she causes all sorts of commotion. While causing commotion Tinka gets in trouble by the teacher and has to get a call home. Although while waiting she gets to read with the class and they love her!
