Tozer expressed the desire to write one more book, a book on worship. He died in 1963 before he could fulfill his wish. Smith compiled these sermons into the present book. According to Tozer, "worship acceptable to God is the missing crown jewel in evangelical Christianity." This book is Tozer's call to true worship.
