Another Mercy story, delving back in to the world of wolf pack business and where she belongs in the hierarchy. On top of that she has fae chasing after her trying to find a copy of a book she was given.
Admittedly it has been quite a while since I have read any of the series and a refresher probably would have helped. I remembered the key players, but the smaller parts or those stories that happened in previous books we no longer in my mind. It was an enjoyable story all around. I would have liked to have a bit more detail. The final battle was rather lack luster and I feel they could have done a lot more with it.
Quick read. Happy Ending. What more could you want? ( )

This series got it's claws firmly in me. I really love the worldbuilding and the expansion of knowledge of the different species in the Mercy-verse.

I loved this story about what can happen when you need to return a book to it's owner. The best one from this series so far. ( )

So Mercy is a part of the pack and they don't like it. Some more than others.
I'm still really annoyed with Mary Jo.
Sam is depressed and doesn't want to go on living, his wolf, however, does. Mercy is helping him but desperate to find something to spark life back in him before he goes on a killing spree.
Mercy need to return the book she borrowed but can't find Finn.
There's a Fairy Queen and lots of fae in this book.

I have to say I loved seeing Ariana and Sam. ( )

Fun outing in the series. The Fae are playing again, an Elfqueen wants a Magic Trinket, but Mercy doesn't play nicely. Pack troubles dominate and I think this has now been resolved and we might start getting into deeper waters again. ( )
