A series of good short descriptions of the major battles and campaigns of WWII. A very good reference and aid for teachers to either prepare lessons or as handouts in the classroom. The only serious flaw I found was in the last entry on the battle for Warsaw in 1939 when he states that Polish cavalry charged German tanks, a myth of the war. The only other issue is that the entries are in alphabetical order, but I think they should be in chronological order, but there is a list in chronological order in the back. ( )
