Princess Elizabeth of Toro shares her experiences of living as a Princess in Africa, a foreigner in England, an eventual fugitive from her country's Idi Amin, and later Ugandan Ambassador to the USA. She talks of her harrowing escape from Amin's clutches, her whirlwind romance and marriage, and her husband's heartbreaking death just a few short years later. She talks of her modeling career and her acquaintance with Britain's Princess Margaret and America's own Jackie Onassis.
This is an excellent book for anyone looking for a good autobiography, and for anyone who loves Africa. ( )
