Despite the decades-old feud between their fathers, socialite Jordan Lake and CEO Nick Thorne are in the midst of an illicit affair. Neither Jordan nor Nick is interested in taking their no-strings-attached sexual relationship to the next level ... or are they?
While totally predictable, Nick and Jordan's romance is scorching hot and their obvious love for one another keeps the pages turning. Their characters are fleshed out well and the twists and turns in their relationship are compelling.
The family feud trope, on the other hand, is not as well developed, and given the premise of the storyline, one would expect it to play a more significant role in the conflict.
Overall, an engaging read and I look forward to reading the 2nd part of the duet focusing on Nick's assistant, Jasmine, and his brother, Adam. (
