This is a book that is designed for 1st-2nd grade students to read on their own. If I had to read this to a class, I would have to incorporate it with different books on gardening and farmers market. I could see if my class would have permission to go to a market as a class field trip. If they weren't allowed to go, I would bring one to the school. Each student would be encouraged to bring different items, and during recces, they would sell their fresh produce to their peers. ( )
