Jerry Cleaver distills the creative writing process down into a simple formula anyone can understand. I had a manuscript rejected by a publisher, who recommended this book. After doing a rewrite and putting Cleavers formula to work, I resubmitted and got accepted. I highly recommend Immediate Fiction to any writer who has been rejected. ( )

A week into following this author's advice and I have got over two sticky days when usually I would give up. But I stuck with it, 'turned up' as Woody Allen would put it, and got through. The writing done so far is probably all ditchable and should be, but that's beside the point. I think this is about confronting oneself and so it goes. ( )

Doet wat het zegt: je meteen aan 't schrijven zetten. Enthousiasmerend.
