The cry for help came at night, during final roundup. But nothing could prevent Conner Calhoun from rescuing his brother's widow and her two children. From the moment he'd laid eyes on Abigail, he'd wanted her, but she wasn't his to have. And now he'd moved his forbidden love onto his ranch, where the secret between them had nowhere to hide.... Every time he tousled Cody's hair, every time he cuddled little Miss Sarah, he was reminded of impossible wishes...and a gift given out of love. But honor demanded he not claim for his own what was never meant to be--unless, of course, Abby wanted the same thing.... No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

The first half of the book is told entirely in his POV and the second half in hers. I think I would have liked to have seen some of the later happenings in the book through Connor's eyes but it was okay the way it was. The characterization of both the hero and the heroine was well done. The hero was very honorable and the heroine a very nice woman trying to find her way. The two children were age appropriate in actions and dialog too.
Well worth reading if you like the angsty stuff. ( )
