A gift from Laurene Laird in 1974. Poetry by Leonard Nimoy, photographs by Leonard Nimoy. I am just not fond of poetry and so few pieces speak to me. Aside from what poems say to the person reading, the person reading tries to figure out who or what the poet is talking about. I am sure these poems were for Leonard's first wife but knowing of the divorce my imagination says they would work just as well for his mother. Hindsight and knowledge of the poet's life seems to transmute his poetry. Black and white photos..odd, poetry that was easily understood. ( )

Might as well be Rod McKuen. Only collectable as a curio for deep Star Trek fans. Schlock is not a bad enough word to describe the wretchedness. If there was a way to give zero stars and make it known that you had done it intentionally, I would not have given it one. ( )
