This is the story of a sloth who is very sleepy. The other animals wonder why he is so lazy. Sloth challenges the other animals to try someone else's trick. When they are incapable of doing the other tricks, Sloth points out how each animal has something he or she is good at, and for him, it's sleeping.

I would use this book for K-2 graders when learning about animals or habitats. I think it would be fun. I would incorporate an activity where each student could demonstrate an activity they are good at. ( )
