Widowed Caroline Kent has opened her husband’s family home as an Inn in order to afford the taxes and upkeep on the mansion in Newport. The Hargreaves family has booked a weekend as a 40th anniversary celebration for the head of the family. On the second day, Maurice is murdered in the gazebo and all the family members are suspect. The detective assigned to the case is attracted to Caroline. This was an interesting mystery although it got a little repetitive during the police interview process. ( )
