An excellent overview of what it would be like to enter into a formal school for Spiritual Direction. Readers "will find most of the salient questions facing the profession of spiritual direction and training programs" (from the Foreword). But perhaps not the best book on training a lay person for Spiritual Direction. Yet, having said that, I will probably re-read this in a couple of years.
