Funny. this is again a woman who gave in to blackmail and kept secrets way too long, just like the last one I read which I hated. But here it makes a lot more sense - he's got her quite thoroughly boxed in. I really don't know whether I've read this before - I knew her big secret, but didn't remember most of what happened to her. And I could have known it from other books in the series - I've read this one all out of order. Well, I'm glad I've read it now, anyway. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Left at the Altar! When Adam Brand's first and only love Kirsten chose not to show up on their wedding day, he was devastated. When she turned up again, married to the town's richest old man, it was almost a relief. His seething anger overpowered his heartbreak. At least, outwardly it did. Inside he never understood, and rather than be forced to see her playing trophy bride to a billionaire, he left Quinn, Texas, his family, and the Texas Brand. But now he's back, and Kirsten's in trouble. Her wealthy husband has been shot dead, his blood is on her hands, and his gun bears her prints. The secrets she's been keeping for longer than Adam has ever suspected, have finally come home to roost, and there's only one man who can save her from the mess she's made of her life. The one man with more cause to hate her than anyone, more cause to hate her than he even knows. And now she has no choice but to tell him the truth...about everything.
