Jordan's got a good life. He's got his own web business, a fat cat for a pet and his own house, which he shares with his sister -- oh well, nothing's perfect. Also not perfect is not having someone special to share his life with. His sister Rebecca believes it's because he's too picky and too unapproachable, but Jordan just wants someone to do the Sunday crossword with, take walks with, someone who'll be his mate for life. Is that really too much to ask? One night Rebecca drags Jordan to a Tyler Curtis concert. Tyler is a notorious bad boy who treats his audience with contempt and sleeps with a different groupie every night, and Rebecca is determined to be tonight's groupie. Jordan is there under protest. At least he is until he meets the man beneath the crass, bad boy image. Will Jordan get to know the true Tyler or will Tyler's manager and a world wanting the man to match the image conspire against them?… (más)

Well. I loved this book. Alec is almost, almost over the top, but he's just so bubbly it's infectious. This book made me laugh out loud, choke up and cry, and even made me literally gasp (a first for any book) out loud when one piece of information is revealed. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the story. ( )

Re-read June 6, 2015:
Even though I liked the book the first two times I've read it, this time I couldn't stand it. The writing is all telling and no showing, the characters are hardly believable - and all that isn't a problem when you're swept away by the story and the drama and the sweetness... which I wasn't this time. I just felt like I was reading the equivalent of a soap opera, with the cheesy lines, bad acting and incredible plotlines. ( )

I kept seeing this book on the top of M/M lists, but whenever I looked to purchase a book by Zathyn Priest on Amazon, they seemed to not be there. Then I found this one and I was hooked.

The tone of the novel is different, and I rather liked it. It is a simple story of boy meets rock-star, boy finds out rock-star is not what he expects, boy falls in love, world goes crazy.

I have to agree that I found the fact that Tyler was a virgin. rather unlikely, but what the heck, I went with it.

I will be checking out what else Zathyn Priest has out there. Entertaining book! ( )

The instant-love relationship between a computer geek and a rock star is cute, but the rock star's background is very Cinderella-over-the-top. Of course, all of it has to be dealt with and come out into the open before the couple can live happily ever after. The writing is engaging enough, if you can suspend your disbelief of the rock star's painful naievty and the book's 'love conquers all' mentality. ( )

I should start by mentioning that I really love this author, more and more with every book if that's even possible. This book has everything a good book needs for me~
Disability (Epilepsy is so my favorite character twist), good humor, a virginal saint bottom, a caring top, and plenty of plot twists. I find it hard to go in more detail because I really don't want to spoil or give anything away. It's too enjoyable to discover everything as you read it. All I can say is, I'm really looking forward to the other novels this author will write. ( )
