Another gem from Tara Books. ( ) Kanchil, a mouse deer, falls into a pit while walking through the forest eating his sticky rice cake off of a banana leaf. He grabs the attention of some unlikely animals to help him out of the pit, so long as the world does not end first. But they better not sneeze, or they will have to be thrown out of the pit. Great artwork! This would be a nice story to share with a class of young children when teaching them how to be a good friend. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This retelling of a popular Indonesian tale features Kanchil, the beloved mouse deer, who, on a bright sunny day, falls into a deep pit in the forest. Nothing can keep him down for long and he soon invents a prophecy to trick a gullible snake, a nervous wild boar, and a hungry tiger into helping him out.
