An easy read and one in which I felt the author had more to tell, but refused to do so. In the other books relating to the shipwreck, he appears a minor character, yet in this book he seems to always have things work out the way one would imagine he intended. How convenient. I just felt there was more, much more, that he could have shared in his book and now we’ll probably never know if there was more to the story....Finished 15.07.2020. HTML: In 1741, the HMS Wager wrecked in an uninhabited area off the coast of Chile. In the aftermath of the disaster, chaos took hold. One faction of the surviving crew rose up against the officers of the ship and attempted to make their way to a Chilean city in a rickety boat. In this volume, Royal Navy officer John Byron presents his version of the mutiny. .No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
