From a shiny beetle in a tree to a big hairy spider in the drainpipe, children meet some bugs that they can touch without fear. Each page has a small, touchable part of the bug it features, even a wriggly worm!
The book is average when compared to other touch and feel books and the slightly flimsier pages don’t impress me at all, but the Halloween possibilities redeem it somewhat. There aren’t many Halloween books for this age group, so any are to be appreciated! If you buy your copy used, check for all moving parts – my "slimy snail", in several copies, is always missing the touchable part.
