This book is like the children’s version of an art book. It contains large versions of famous works of art which are in the Louvre. The title, date and artist are listed alongside each artwork as well as 5 or 6 circles with zoomed in portions of the art. This gives the book a “hidden picture or I spy” feel and engages the reader to find all the details. In the back pages of the book, each work of art is listed with a longer description, there are flaps that the reader can lift to reveal even more information about the painting as well as to show where each of the hidden details is located.
