This pop-up book is so spectacular it is difficult to handle and to read. In construction it is remarkable.

Summary:
This is shortened version of the Peter Pan movie we may have all seen. The story of Wendy and her brother's traveling to a place where nobody knows what a mother is. The children experience a world of dreams away from home, but soon they realize they miss their parents. They return home safely after days of wild adventure.

Personal Reaction:
When I ordered this book, I should have read a review first. It is for a younger group than I prefer, but it would be great for early childhood.

Classroom Extension Ideas:.
1.Let the children draw a picture of their own fantasy world and share a story.
2. Share stories of a time the kids were away from home having fun, but they still missed their parents. ( )

This book is so beautifully made and worth far more than the 5 dollars I paid for it. ( )
