Generation Green The ultimate teen guide to living an eco-friendly life is written by Linda Sivertsen and Tosh Sivertsen. This book gives a unique teen perspective to living green and the changes teens can make to save the environment. This book offers tons of tips on how to eat, live, and even shop green.

I think this book would be useful in the classroom for a student that was interested in the environment. It would be great for extra reading. It would also be nice to recommend for a student to read if they were thinking about starting a new project for the school. However, I don't think I would use this book as an entire class read.

I liked this book. I don't believe it will cause any changes in my life, but it was a very nice idea. I also enjoyed that the mother and son wrote this book together. It's great that the soon is fresh out of high school because it shows that someone is never too young to do something big or to make steps to save their planet.

Green Idea Six: Green Wheels. What vehicles are energy efficient?
Green Idea Seven: Greener Schools and Careers. How can school be greener? What are some green jobs?

Besides the fact that this book is nonfiction, it’s just suppose to be a helpful guide for people who wish to live that lifestyle. That makes it really hard to even go about rating it. So thus, I can’t really rate this material.

If you agree with the author’s philosophy/views, and you wish to learn how to live out a greener life, then yes I suggest this book. It contains tons of interesting, and uncommon ways to live green. Example: Host a Really Really Free Market, which is like a huge garage sale but everything is actually free. Tada! You just Recycled.

Since I don’t agree with everything stated by the authors, and I have different views I can’t really review this book as accurately as I could a book written by a person who shares my beliefs.

Generation Green could be a useful resource for a person wanting to go green, but other than that I don’t see any need to read it.
