I'm still dubious about colorwork in socks (okay, so I'm a coward when it comes to the non-stretchability of stranded colorwork), but I really fell in love with Rivendell and Biological Clock. Honestly, how can you not love a sock with the representation of a DNA strand running up the side? Ms. Laidman brings a lot of things to the table with this book so, if you'll excuse me, I need to cast on a sock or twelve. ( )

Just received this book. I got it because I really wanted to make the Rivendell socks but I'm excited by all the colorwork patterns in the book as colorwork is something I really want to try. ( )
