It has a design to it that catches your attention with parts of a word of the previous page, being a part of a word in the next page. It also would helping younger children count from 1 to 10. Each page represents one of ten painting the the boy drew and there are all things that would catch the eyes of young readers. i would definitely recommend this book to read to a young audience. ( ) This book counts from 1-10. Every other page use part of the word from the previous page. This is a great book if kids are just starting to learn to count. and also if they are learning to spell. USES: This book could be used when learning to count from 1-10. Or when practicing spelling. It could help them start to see how words can be part of other words. Seeger in this book did the same idea that she used in her First the Egg children book. She showed her ability to transform words and objects into a wonderful concept book. Seeger uses the numbers 1 through 10, with her signature die-cut pages, and a simple vocabulary. She designed her book in a way that shows words inside other words, and she tempted to create a tribute to wordplay that is unmatched. When the readers go through the text, they will notice that the 10 objects are linked just by the look they spell ("one boy /All alone,/ Two seals, At the sea,/Ten ants/In your pants"). In the end the story, however, the reader accurately will discover that all of the art was painted by the "one boy" who is the first page of the book. Older readers may quickly return to the beginning to meditate the paintings and study them more carefully. The PreK also will enjoy the design of the book and have fun in guessing at what they are going to see next. It is an excellent book for the children who are started to develop their sight words. The main idea of this story is that the one boy who was alone will not be left alone after his paintings. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
