When it is time to eat, she does not share the food since no one helped her throughout the process. Interestingly the story runs counter to what we teach our children about sharing. The current way of thinking is to teach our children to share no matter the circumstances.
The story illustrates the ramifications of not working to achieve one’s ends. An excellent teaching tool and one I could see as useful at other than with young children. Possible tool for uses with employee productivity training. ( )
