Po letech, kdy postava Humra Johnsona uchvacovala čtenáře pouze jako součást Hellboye a Ú. P. V. O., konečně vychází jeho první samostatné dobrodružství. Příběh Humr Johnson: Železný Prométheus, který napsal Mike Mignola a nakreslil Jason Armstrong (a který obsahuje skicář s řadou náčrtů Mikea Mignoly, Jasona Armstronga a Guye Davise – kreslíře série Ú. P. V. O.), je divokou jízdou plnou děsivých příšer, šílených vědců a hrozeb přicházejícícch z jiných světů.

A book with a hero called Lobster Johnson has to be read right? Mike Mignola's often referenced Lobster Johnson in the Hellboy and B.P.R.D. series finally gets his own title. Taking place more in the times of WWII or before, it finds Lobster Johnson pitted against some of the original supernatural threats during that time period. Imagine a darker and more strange Captain America, or just that written by Mike Mignola if you're familiar. (

Classic pulp from the period it alludes to and the insert pages represent. Okay, but more boys-own adventure than the usual Occult fare of Mignola. Back to Hellboy for me! (

A great stand-alone pulp story with attacking gorillas, cannibals in the sewers of New York, Atlantean magic, Nazis, etc., and it also ties in to the larger B.P.R.D./Hellboy stories. Very fun. Great art. (
