The two main characters were super annoying and bitchy to each other and other people in the story. ( ) We all know that Christopher Pike doesn't age as well as we might like. The Immortal, on the other hand, seems like it wouldn't have set that well with me even at a tender age. Half of this book is written like a vacation guide to the Greek island of Mykonos, there is a very tacked on sub plot where Josie and her dad discuss the plot of his science fiction screen play for pages and pages, none of the teenagers act very teenagery, and none of the adults act very adult. But I still love Christopher Pike! [full review here: http://spacebeer.blogspot.com/2010/04/immortal-by-christopher-pike-1993.html ] Read this book years ago when I was still in high school (I was a real fan of horror stories and read A LOT of Mr Pike's creations), and the well-spun plot left a pretty good impression on me to this day. It revolves around Greek mythology, the reincarnation of goddesses with sinister events surrounding it. Truly a page-turner and a really well-written piece by Mr Pike. Together with my interest of glorious myths and ancient Gods of the past, hope I'll get to go to Greece one day to see Olympus with very my own eyes =) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
