Deborah Gray, once again, addresses the primary issues that parents and professionals confront when they become involved with hurt children. She has something for just about everyone in the adoption world! Her detailed examination of many cogent issues will help anyone whose life is touched by children and adolescents who have lost so much prior to their adoptions and yet have so much to gain in their new families. Self-Study Questionnaire: 15 multiple choice, true/false, short answer and fill in the blank questions. This was a great book. I especially liked the tone Ms. Gray took towards children who have been adopted out of difficult circumstances. She is hopeful and suggests concrete tools that give parents and children control over their lives and emotions. She suggests ways to integrate the past while still moving forward healthily. I really felt like she had a secure handle on the challenges that our family has faced and was confident that there are workable solutions to many common difficulties. I wish we lived in Washington!! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
