The plot sounds like the usual stuff, but if you're not willing to read the same plot twenty five times over then you're going to be hard pressed to find much BL to read, so... Great ideas = hogwash, style and structure are the essence of a book, etc, etc, let's have at it then.

So I gave it a chance and... Actually this is just what my cynical me expected. Thoroughly standard fare. Art is nice to look at but nothing special. Eventually started skimming over the angsting cause even though it didn't make me want to gouge my eyes out and give up on the whole thing like some angsting does, it's still the kind where even if you don't read it all, you know what it says, and it's not exactly adding anything to the experience, either. ...I guess if you haven't gotten tired of the standard recycled yaoi plots yet, you'll have a fine time with this. Even so, if you've read enough yaoi, you won't remember these characters names by the end of the day, and won't remember their personalities or story by the end of the week. I swear these guys do this from paint by number books. ^_^; ( )
