This is an activity book that focuses on the grade K through 4th. There are a ton of lessons in this books that teachers can use to teach science in their classrooms. Also, all the lessons are dealt with reading and have reading books involved in the lesson. The lessons follow the 5E instructional model which means the student will be engaged, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate. One lesson that deals with trees in this book is Be a Friend to Trees and this lesson the students will explore the products made from trees and the importance of trees as sources of food, shelter, and oxygen for people and animals.

More Picture Perfect Science Lessons has given me great information on lesson plans. I never knew how many different ways you can teach about a specific thing. It’s nice to get ideas from the book and turn the lesson plan into your own. I have never had to make a lesson plan before and having this book has made it make more sense and easier to create something. I like how the book is organized as far as listing the materials needed, time, books, etc. ( )

This is an elementary science workbook that is filled with lessons. The 5E's are explained (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate) so that the teacher or new teacher can reach all of the student's interest's.
