A recurring theme is that the person in charge of the mystery is completely wrong in his understanding of what is happening. I don't know how to add authors on the main page, so here they are: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Anton Chekhov, Clarence Rook, Anna Katherine Green, Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe. From "The Adventure of the Veiled Lodger" by Doyle, these quotes: "The ways of fate are indeed hard to understand. If there is not some compensation hereafter, then the world is a cruel jest." [p. 20] "The example of patient suffering is in itself the most precious of all lessons to an impatient world." sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This is a children's book that Mareena thought I might like to read, however it certainly wasn't what I was expecting. I give this book a B+! ( )
