I haven't read any other Redstone Incorporated novels, although it reminds me of the Red Stone Security books by Katie Reus. Although some plot points are based on previous books, I didn't feel that I was confused or lost at any point. I liked Liana and her loyalty and I liked Logan. Liana was smart and logical and resourceful - and she saves herself! He's all she's been kidnapped and then she calls to say hey guess what, I rescued myself and now I need a lift - totally badass. The plot was interesting and solid, even if a little simplistic. The romance was obviously a main plot point and was well executed. Although, more backstory into how they met and their "past" - it's not really a past they knew each other for like 3 days, although it was an intense high stress three days - would've made this stronger - too much of the development happens off page. That said, I did enjoy their interactions and Liana's character. There was lots of humour and a few one liners I quite liked. Solid overall read. ( )

When Liana starts work with Redstone, little does she know that the next thing that's going to happen is that she's going to discover that her hero, Detective Logan Beck, is accused of being corrupt, of taking bribes, she can't believe this and Restone comes to her aid in investigating this.

I apparently read this before, I don't recall, but it was a diverting read. ( )

Framed cop,undercover cop

Just plain good. I like Redstone. and this one is Redstone and a cop - I heard lots of echoes of Trinity West in this story. Both stubborn as all hell. It's funny watching her realizing just how much Redstone will stand behind her - and then watching her try to convince him of the same! ( )
