Caves is a cute book to supplement a lesson on or field trip to caves. David L. Harrison briefly explains, in child friendly language, not only how caves are formed, but how elaborate and delicate its ecosystem is. ( )

I really like David L. Harrison's book Caves. I thought it was extremely interesting, informative, and a great way to teach children about the world of caves. I even learned a lot about the white and see through creatures that live deep in the caves as well as how a cave forms (from rain..who knew?), and the different vocabulary terms used to describe things around the cave. I though the book was fascinating. ( )
