Bi-directional Korean-English dictionary aimed at travelers. The English to Korean section is more extensive than the Korean to English one. Hangul is used for the Korean: there's no Romanization. (Which is fine with me: when your native writing system is both easy to learn and phonemically accurate, doing some roundabout translation to the western alphabet just adds a needless layer of complication.) Brief phrasebook at the back. The book is long and skinny, clearly intended to be packed in luggage or slipped into a coat pocket. Though more a traveler's dictionary than a scholarly work, this is the best one-volume bi-directional translation dictionary I've found so far.

It's small size is convenient, but its vocabulary is limited, and leans toward travel, business and education. ( )
