Little Kid Reaction: Our preschooler loves Arthur, so we expected it to be an instant hit. This one received a lukewarm reception.

Big Kid Reaction: This is a so-so story, with a fairly predictable plot. Ironically, the story ends before Arthur and friends complete their task. They have fun with the leaves, but never finish the job.

Arthur's dad asks him to rake the leaves in the backyard. arthur thinks is a lot of work but he does it anyways. he invites his friends and they all do it while playing with the leaves too.

Arthur's dad gives him a job to rake the leaves. After he rakes the leaves he decides to jump in them, which was one of my favorite things to do as a child! Arthur's friends show up and they just continue to have just as much fun as he is having.
