“All the Places to Love” is about a little boy who grows up on his grandparents’ farm and enjoys several places on the farm. Eli’s grandparents’ make sure that he enjoys every inch of the farm, from the rivers whispers to the cows chewing grass. Eli has these memories that he plans to pass down to his sister as she grows up on the farm as he has. MacLachlan uses expressive language to give an image to her words, as well as the illustrations. The descriptive language helps paint the picture that the reader is able to see. ( )
