This is a wonderful book to teach kids about emotions and to think about others more than themselves. Eli Elephant is disappointed because he had a fun play date planned with Finley Flamingo, but Finley is sick and the play date is cancelled. Find out how Eli deals with his emotions and how he finds joy in blessing others. The words are in rhyme, so it is also fun to read aloud. ( )
