Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. 7 chapters with essays from 1990 to 1994 Although these essays by Ehrenreich all date to the early 1990s, I found them to be entirely relevant even a quarter of a century later, depressingly so. All of the social problems and attitudes Ehrenreich artfully skewers here are still very much with us, and even her writing about the Clintons seems completely on-point. Nothing ever really changes, and that's the depressing part, but Ehrenreich's writing is so entertaining about it: sardonic, drily witty, and absolutely true. We need feminists like her more than ever now, who are unapologetic about being right up in your face and saying it's okay not to want to be like men; in fact, men shouldn't even want to be like men! This was an unusual pick by my real-life book club--I had to buy a used paperback--but it felt like just the right read for right now. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
