Ever since her grandma passed away a few years ago, Noelle’s had trouble getting into the Christmas spirit. As a busy elementary school teacher, she hasn’t had time to fix up the house her grandma left her. To her rescue comes her funny, darling friends who decide to “rent her an elf,” a handyman who’ll come a tackle all her much needed repairs over a weekend.
Noelle’s expecting Homer Simpson, but instead her elf looks like a cross between Henry Cavill and Chris Hemsworth. He’s not only gorgeous, but a talented entrepreneur who fixes everything she needs. He also manages to help her regain her love of Christmas.
Liam’s holiday gimmick of marketing himself as an elf is really paying off. His next job is for a little old lady. Imagine his surprise when the little old lady is Noelle, an attractive, young teacher. Before the job is done though, he needs to find out if this cute woman, who has a tendency to blurt things out when she’s nervous, has a boyfriend.
I loved this adorable story! Noelle & Liam have such great chemistry. Liam’s an affectionate guy and I loved the way he explained how he would be if they were dating. I also loved how he stood up for her with her family. I loved their friends too. Noelle’s friend’s text chat was hilarious.
Despite its short length there’s a lot of depth to the story. It’s such a fun novella with just the right amount of humor, romance, and heart. A perfect book for the busy Christmas season! I only hope we get to see these two in the future somewhere. I received an advanced complimentary copy from the author but also purchased a copy through Kindle Unlimited.
