OK bio of child actor Mimi Gibson who appeared In Houseboat with Cary Grant and Sophia Loren and The Wings of Eagles with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara among others. She was a model for calendars from the age of 22 months. She was the main breadwinner for her family (mother and sister) and when she came of age found that none of her earnings had been put aside for her. She spends a great deal of the book discussing how child actors were treated and what is currently being done to try to rectify issues including ensuring that their earnings are kept in trust for them. She goes through her television and film appearances briefly and I would have liked more info on that. She discusses many of the stars and fellow child actors she worked with. OK book. One misspelling that I found and that is the pop group the Monkees was spelled as Monkeys on page 21. ( )
