The Doctor's Mistress is the third book in The Doctors Wife psychological thriller series but can easily be enjoyed as a stand alone novel. Fern has killed her husband because he was cheating on her with his mistress Alice. Fern had framed Alice for the murder. When she is finally let out from prison Alice is out for revenge and will stop at nothing to find Fern and make her pay. Each of these women has a baby girl which complicates both their lives but helps Fern in hiding from the police, nobody ever knew she was pregnant. There are lots of twists and turns in this story and I enjoyed it very much. I am wondering if this is going to be the last book in the series because as it ends there are still possibilities for Fern and Alice to reconnect. Recommended for fun.
