1787 The Best Defense, by Alan M. Dershowitz (read 9 Jul 1983) The author of this book is a Harvard law professor who has been involved in various interesting and famous defense efforts. The book is full of interesting stuff, and I found it easy to read. I also am glad I am not a New York judge, the locale of many of the cases the author was involved in. The crime and corruption that seems to abound there make Sioux City an awful nice place to be a judge. ( )
