The father and mother knew how beautiful their daughter was and wanted to find a powerful man to marry their daughter. The try asking the sun, moon, wind, and the great big wall, but its not them that will marry their daughter. When they return home there is a handsome mouse waiting to marry their daughter. Everyone joins them for the ceremony as all the mice gather around to celebrate. I really enjoyed reading this folk tale. The illustrations were beautiful and made the story even better for me. ( ) Beautiful folk tale!!! A couple of mice want to find the perfect husband for her loved and prefect mouse daughter. Advised by the Moon, they seek the powerful Sun to marry their daughter. The sun tells them that the most powerful y the Cloud, the Cloud tells them it's the Wind and the wind tells the Mice although he is powerful, Wind is not as strong as the Wall. They run to the wall of a temple sure they have found the perfect husband. To everyone's surprise, the Wall confesses he crumbles when he sees a mouse. A mouse!! In the the end there's a beautiful mice wedding in front of the Temple with everyone dancing, surrounded by the Sun, The cloud crying of happiness and the Wind keeping everyone cool. Although I didn't see anything in the story that reflected Mayan culture, I loved the plot of the tale. So sweet! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
