Brock & Piper's story. You remember Brock from One Bossy Dare by purchasing exclusive coffee from and yachting Cole across the sound? Yes, that Brock. He's an rigid icy CEO of his grandparent's hotel chain. A mistaken room mix up has him naked in the shower scaring the woman who is registered in the room. Piper is an influencer who's on vacation at a Winthrop hotel when she interrupts Brock in the shower. Sparks, snarky humor, and an odd friendship kind of develop with Piper thinking Brock's the hotel manager. One kiss and then back to their own lives. Fast forward to Piper's new job and she runs into Brock the CEO. Livid that he lied to her they spar back and forth and he creates a new job for her & her best friend. Investigating the months of bad reviews online for the hotel chain has Piper working closer with Brock and the attraction between them blossoms. Solid plot including Brock helping out Piper's sick father, her not wanting help, her relationship with her sister, Brock's kick ass assistant Keenan, & of course misunderstandings and assumptions made about text messages.
