Being bad never tasted so good. Lane Callaghan almost died six months ago. Her heroic deed finally achieved the one thing she always wanted and finally realized she never needed-the sun fae's respect. While the fae no longer wish her dead, she has new bigger, badder enemies at large. And after inadvertently binding herself to the beast inside her sugar muffin, Teddy, possibly within her bedroom. Once again thrust into the unwanted role of heroine, Lane and her sisters are hired-some would say forced-into another job. This time, it isn't just the sun stones that are missing, sun fae are vanishing without a trace. As Lane reluctantly begins to peel back the layers of the investigation, she discovers sun fae secrets and shames that hit a little too close to home and threaten to tear her family apart. Lane must navigate a treacherous path through lies, secrets, and escaped homicidal druids, all with the jaws of Teddy's black wolf hovering at her neck.… (más)

Bad Girls Bite by S.L Choi is a paranormal romance
novel that centres around a kickass protagonist named Keira Blackwood, a half-vampire and half-demon hybrid who works as a bounty
hunter for the vampire council. The story takes place in a world where vampires, demons werewolves, and other supernatural creatures exist alongside humans. The story starts with Keira being hired by the
vampire bounty hunter who takes down dangerous supernatural creatures. The story follows Keira as she hunts down a powerful demon who has been terrorizing the city.

The book is filled with suspense, action and
romance. Keira is a strong and complex character who is unapologetic about her abilities and her male-dominated profession. The author does a great job of building Keira's character and making her relatable to readers. The romance aspect of the book is also well done. The chemistry between Keira and her love interest, Ethan, is electric. Their relationship is both passionate and complicated, adding depth to the story.
The world-building in Bad Girls Bite is also
impressive. The author has created a detailed and intricate supernatural world that is both fascinating and terrifying. The descriptions of demons vampires and other supernatural creatures are vivid and imaginative. Overall, Bad Girls Bite is an enjoyable read that will appeal to fans of paranormal romance and urban fantasy. The book is fast-paced, filled with action, and has a strong female lead that readers will root for. If you're a fan of kickass heroines, intense romance, and supernatural creatures, then this book is definitely worth checking out overall, Bad Girls Bite is an enjoyable read that will appeal to fans of paranormal romance and urban fantasy. Bad Girls Bite by S.L. Choi. Second in the Blood Fae Druid series. Sun Fae are vanishing and Lane and her sisters are "hired" (not given a choice) to find them. The sunstones they were hired to retrieve in the previous book are mostly still missing and they're still trying to track those down. Lane's druid grandfather has escaped from jail and is offering to teach her druiding. Family secrets are emerging, and may break the family apart. Lane's sexy boyfriend, Teddy, and his inner wolf are partially bound to her, and she needs to decide if she's going to complete the bonding. Not that she has all the information she needs to solve any of those problems. Lane is a bit of a mess, but I still like her and her sisters. Teddy is okay, although his pet name for Lane, "Sweet Fangs" is still annoying, and her search for a cute pet name for him not much better. Also, too much sex for my preferences, and mostly not advancing the plot. Decent follow-up to the first book. Will read more in the series as they come my way. Reviewed from an e-book received through the LibraryThing Early Reviewers Program in return for an honest review.

Bad Girls Bite is the second in the Blood Fae Druid series, Lane Callaghan and her sisters are having some success with their fledgling investigation business. They are still helping the Sun Fae retrieve the remaining of the stolen Sun Stone Shards, essential for the Sun Fae’s magic and strength. They have been given a new job to investigate a series of missing Sun Fae. Lane’s relationship with Teddy, her shifter boyfriend, is heating up. At the same time, her relationships with her family, and her Druid ancestor, are becoming more complicated. As the only hybrid Blood Fae/Druid Lane has to come to terms with her own heritage and her unknown powers.
This second installment of the Blood Fae Druid series moves a bit slower than the first. There is more time spent in relationship and family matters. However, there is still plenty of action, both magical and fighting, to keep the book interesting. Lane and her sisters and the other characters are interesting. Lane is a strong protagonist, and it is fun watching her try to learn to trust and rely on other people. There is quite a lot of humour. Just as in the first book, I enjoyed the world-building, but would still like a more complete explanation of the relationship between the various supernatural worlds and the human world. There are a couple of fairly graphic sex scenes, but not excessive. ( )

This is not a series for the faint of heart. The fight scenes and the sex scenes are both pretty graphic, and the language can be salty at times.

YML Investigations is a sister-owned and operated agency specializing in debt collection. Y is for Y’sindra, a snow fairy with a foul mouth and snarky attitude. M is for Mae, a sun fae, and the brains of the company. L is for Lane, a hybrid of several kinds of magical lines, unique in the world, and a tried-and-true ass-kicker. These are the Callaghan sisters.

Lane is the book’s mouthpiece, as she was in Volume 1 of the series. I don’t think this book stands alone. I would suggest reading the first book, Bad Girls Drink Blood, before jumping into this one.

In this book, Mae is learning advanced sun magic from their father, Y’sindra has a steady boyfriend, Lo, and Lane and her bartender/shifter/prince boyfriend Teddy have an uneasy but passionate peace between them. Throw in a bunch of good characters who have some bad moments, and some bad characters who have some good moments, and the action can get messy and gritty. Lane has to rely on her ability to fight to the death and to heal quickly from the wounds that she sustains.

This is an interesting series, but I found this second volume to drag quite a bit. That being said, I care enough about these three sisters to continue through to the end. ( )

I really enjoyed this book! This is the second book in the Blood Fae Druid series and I would definitely recommend reading the series in order since this book builds on the events from the first book. I have grown to really like this group of characters and the world that they live in. I am so glad that I decided to give this series a try.

This book had all of the action and excitement that I hoped it would. Lane and Teddy’s relationship took a more pivotal role in this story and there are some pretty big developments in that area early in the novel. I have to say that I adore Teddy! Even when he knows what might be best for Lane, he has learned to let her come to those decisions on her own. It was great to see all of the characters working towards a common goal once again even if I was a bit worried about how things might turn out.

This story is told from Lane’s point of view and I really like her character. She is stubborn and sometimes decides to do things the hard way but she is also incredibly loyal and will never give up on those she cares about. I found her to be rather resourceful and I have really enjoyed watching her magic grow as she learns to fully use all of her abilities. I love the fact that the story has a thread of humor woven throughout the story which helped make reading the book a fun experience.

I would definitely recommend this series to fans of urban fantasy. I found this to be an incredibly entertaining story filled with an amazing cast of characters. I cannot wait to read more of this fantastic series!

I received a digital review copy of this book from the author. ( )
