Really looking forward to reading the other books in this series. I am pleased that although being part of a series it can be read as a stand alone without feeling like your missing context. I've read some other fated mate stories in the past but this has to be my favorite as I don't think it follows that typical story. Nyx and Vesperus are hands down some of my favorite characters. Also the world that Foss creates in this book is very alluring and I found myself immediately immersed. As a whole I absolutely enjoyed this book but the ending brought some sadness. I am looking forward to reading more about Nyx and Vesperus and what the rest of this series has in store for us. ( )

This was an amazing book, I will honestly say that Lexi C. Foss's books are always that way. But this book is about Nyx, the Mistress of Nigh and her Fated Mate, Vesperus. The author brings them to life, with all the emotions between them. A fabulous read and a great series that is a must read. I can not say enough about this series ( )
