A good introduction to asexuality that is approachable and (mostly) avoids getting bogged down in terminology. I think this would be a good first read on asexuality as it covers all of the main concepts without getting into too much overwhelming detail. The author describes many of his own experiences with asexuality, which for for me made the book more interesting and personal. The author is, apart from being asexual, also an older gay man in a polyamorous relationship, a perspective on asexuality that was new to me. He maintains a positive and encouraging tone throughout while also being realistic about the challenges that asexual people can face and about his own fears and uncertainties.
